24/7 TOWING IN
FONTANA, CA

Fontana is the heavy end of the business. This yard exists because the Inland Empire is the busiest commercial freight corridor in California, and the 10, the 15 and the Cajon Pass generate more heavy recovery than anywhere else we work. The 50 and 75-ton rotators and the Landoll detach trailers are parked here. Call Fontana direct: (909) 355-9282.

Towing in Fontana

Most of what rolls out of this yard is heavy. Loaded tractor-trailers, rollovers, load shifts, and vehicles over the side of the Cajon grade.

The 10 / 15 Junction

One of the busiest freight crossings in the state. When something goes over here it blocks two corridors at once, and the recovery has to be planned rather than improvised. Full detail on our I-10 towing page.

The Cajon Pass

The hardest stretch of road we work. A long sustained grade that cooks brakes and cooling systems, heavy truck traffic, and a shoulder that is often not there. Rigs come apart on the descent and end up on their sides or over the edge. See I-15 and Cajon Pass towing.

Rollovers and Load Shifts

This is rotator work and it is our daily bread here. We take the weight on the boom and set the unit back on its wheels rather than dragging it, which is what protects the trailer and the freight. See rotator recovery.

Motorhomes on the Grade

Class A coaches overheat and give up on the Cajon constantly. We run medium and heavy wreckers rated for 40-foot diesel pushers — see RV towing.

Warehouse and Distribution Traffic

Fontana, Rialto, Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga are wall-to-wall distribution. Yard traffic, dock aprons, and non-rolling equipment on Landoll trailers — see equipment transport and commercial fleet towing.

What This Yard Actually Holds

The heavy iron. Fontana is one of two heavy-duty hubs (Whittier HQ is the other) and it holds the 50 and 75-ton rotators, Class 8 wreckers and Landoll detach trailers, plus a secured storage yard. It also runs light and medium duty for local calls. If a rotator is going to the Cajon or the 15, it leaves from here.

Freeways We Work From Fontana

The 10, the 15 and the Cajon grade are the core of this yard's work, plus the 210 and the 60 through the Inland Empire and the 215 split.

Why Fontana Calls Hadley

  • We own every truck. Hadley drivers in Hadley trucks. Not an app, not a dispatch network — your call is never farmed out. Why that matters.
  • Family-owned since 1952. Three generations, the same yards, the same phone numbers.
  • We know how to work a live scene. A freeway shoulder is a hazard before it is a tow, and our operators are trained to treat it that way.
  • Insurance approved. Covered accident tows are billed straight to the carrier and cost you nothing — see insurance-covered towing.

Fontana Frequently Asked Questions

Does Fontana have a 75-ton rotator?
Yes. Fontana is one of only two Hadley heavy-duty hubs and it holds both the 50 and 75-ton rotators along with Landoll detach trailers.
Do you cover the Cajon Pass?
Yes — and this yard sits at the base of it. Grade breakdowns, rollovers and over-the-side recovery on the Cajon are core Fontana work.
Can you recover a rolled tractor-trailer on the 15?
Yes. The rotator uprights the unit rather than dragging it, protecting the trailer and freight. Call (909) 355-9282.
How fast can the rotator reach the Cajon?
It rolls from this yard at the base of the grade. Dispatch gives you a real ETA when you call (909) 355-9282.
Do you store vehicles at Fontana?
Yes — gated, camera-monitored, with documented intake and release.
